Mogib Hassan

Mogib Hassan is a co-founder of MENARA. He was born in 1974 in Yemen. He has dual nationality: Yemeni and Dutch. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Globalisation from London Metropolitan University.

As a liberal Yemeni, democratization, human rights and the position of women have always been his main concern. He has been part of different podiums ranging from academic, media and international organisations to local NGOs and influential groups in Yemen. He has provided consultation for different panels of experts on Yemen.

Mogib blends his personal and international experiences with a broader political perspective to promote dialogue and good governance. He closely monitors the international geopolitical shifts and their impact on the MENA region/Yemen and its stability, and what it means for world peace and counterterrorism efforts in the region and the EU.
